Market Rasen is a small market town and a civil parish located at 21 kilometers south of London. The town is under the jurisdiction of the district of West Lindsey and is at the edge of Lincolnshire Wolds.
The town center is quite nice with its 19th century architecture of Georgian and Victorian styles coupled with the wonderful effect of having the River Rasen flow through it. It also has a medieval church of the same time frame.
The town’s market place existed for about 700 years now but is still sells good quality products for both the locals and the visitors of the town. Garments and such as well as local produce are found in the market place.
Moreover, the town has the first purpose built combined fire and police stations in the UK. It also has education units such as the De Aston secondary school, Market Rasen church of England School and Middle Rasen School and Pre-school.
