Cheyne Lane Bistro is a traditional English Bistro run by a couple, Alan and Gail. The bistro serves home-cooked food, a mix of casual snacks and fine dining using locally source seasonal products.
Cheyne Lane is a nice and small bistro hidden away in Stamford. The décor is quite subtle and the atmosphere is just lovely. Moreover, the place is a bit dark and busy with a roaring log fire for a cosy and warm dining.
Furthermore, food at this bistro is definitely delicious. The steak is tender and tasty in huge portions. It is cooked to perfection which just the right amount of seasonings. The Penne Pasta is a must try as well as the chip, which are hand cooked and to die for in goodness.
Upon coming and throughout the meal, the staff members were just great. They are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful in many ways. They are also very attentive in taking each detail of the orders, which is nice of them.
The place is great, with a peace and tranquil setting for a delicious meal. It is definitely one of the favorites in South Kesteven.
