The University of Lincoln is a public university in the city of Lincoln. It can be traced as far back as 1861, with a lot of developments on its wake. The main campus of the said university is adjacent to Brayford Pool.

The university developed from a number of educational institutions in Hull. In 1992, it became a full university. Four years after that, the university developed and became the university of Lincolnshire and Humberside. At the start of the 21st century, it finally became The University of Lincoln with another campus located at Holbeach.

It has a few campuses in the county as well as several buildings inside its campuses. The main campus at Brayford has about fourteen or so buildings dedicated to different fields such as engineering, architecture, and many others.

For students, the university has an accommodation such as The Student Village, composed of seventeen blocks of self-catering apartments for students to live in. There are also student organizations and unions inside the campus.

Moreover, the university has catering services, sports center, and a library. It also has a live performing arts center for those who prefer drama, acting, or stage crafts. For events, the university has The Engine Shed, a venue for events and live music with four bars.
