Squawk on the Wild Side

Squawk on the Wild Side © Tripadvisor

Squawk on the Wild Side is an all-weather environment and pet shop located in a 540 square meter tropical zone 3 miles from the coastal town of Skegness. The place is an ideal and unique experience for the whole family, especially with the selection of wild and exotic animals.

Several animals are exhibited both for show and for educational purposes, especially for school and for children. Take for instance the “Jungle” where on can experience talking Macaws while walking around. Another is the the reptile area, which will definitely give your eyes a fill of snakes, chameleons, geckos and marmosets.

Aside from animal exhibits like what usual zoo does, this said environment also goes for live shows, but instead of human beings demonstrating skills and talents, animals will show what they can do even if they are just what they are. Believe me, these shows are pretty amazing. It includes such talents from Parrots, Snakes, Lizards, and a few chosen Mammals.

Talks are also held for people to be more informed about these animals, in a way educating them about little things related to these creatures who seems to be occupying the earth in bigger numbers than we do. Usually these unique talks, demonstrations, and shows take up to 40 minutes.

All these happens in a beautiful tropical environment complete with facilities that will definitely boosts its tourism. For those who are hungry, one can always grab a bite from the Restaurant and the Coffee Shop in the Area. There are also Gift Shops, full of pens, keyrings, and other trinkets, as well as a Garden Centre.

This complete experience will surely be an unforgettable experience for kids, especially younger ones.
