With the slogan “The Magical World of Fantasy Island”, Fantasy Island is an ideal family amusement park located in Ingoldmells. The park itself is situated at the heart of a wide holiday park, giving access to more attractions. Beside it is a well-established outdoor and indoor traditional market, holding the title of being the biggest in Europe.
Entry to this magical world is free, but the rides aren’t. They can be accessed by buying individual tickets. However, for those who loves rides, then, he/she can avail of the barcoded wristbands for a small price to gain an unlimited access to all the rides in the park. The code is changed every day, so one barcode will be invalid for the next day.
Since it is a magical land, there are a lot to do and see at Fantasy Island. The to-do list includes riding rides, shopping, watching some entertainments and eating lots of delicious snack and food available from all the different food establishments inside the area.
Fantasy Island boasts of attraction such as the Jubilee Odyssey, the Millennium Roller Coaster, the Volcanic Impact, the Mondial Ultra Man,the Galactic Play Zone, Arcades, Go-Karts, Soft Play Area, and the Mini Dodgems. First off is the Jubilee Odyssey, a steel roller coaster with five exciting inversions. It is dubbed as the third tallest roller coaster in the whole of the United Kingdom. The second is the Millennium Roller Coaster, which has three inversions. Then, there’s the Volcanic Shot, a 200ft S&S shot, and a Mondial Ultra Man, which acts as a smaller Frisbee ride.
For much younger kids, the soft play area and the Galactic Play Zone is a must while visiting, especially with its multi-level adventure specially designed for the enjoyment of the younger ones.
Aside from rides, one can also enjoy several entertainments offered by the park such as the Wig Wag Boom, which is ideal for families, Ian Dee, the Bavarian Stroopers, J’Nay, and Jeff Dingle as Bruno Mars. There is also a famous IMAX ridefilm attraction known as “Fun House Express: Jimmy Clown’s Chaos.
There are more to see in Fantasy Island, however, it is better to see it with our own eyes as well as to experience the joy and thrill physically with our bodies.
